We currently offer three different grades of Micro Asphalt, thin 10mm, medium 20mm and thick 30mm. Although we can build up areas up to 100mm with layer upon layer of regulating.

Micro Asphalt is a wet sticky asphalt and is applied cold.Its deep penetrating bitumen binder helps to stabilize the original surface for extra strength. There is usually no need for excavation as Micro Asphalt unlike Tarmac is designed to adhere and become one with the existing surface.
Also an effective repair system for any hardscaped surface including concrete, wood or metal surfaces.

Micro Asphalt can be laid at varying depths depending on what the surface requires. It can be laid to a smooth or a coarse texture leaving an anti skid finish if required, this is often requested in rural areas, graded areas such as hills and areas where snow and ice can be a problem!

Choice Of Colours

Traditionally Micro Asphalt has only been used by local authorities for road, car park and footpath maintenance but it is becoming increasingly popular as a residential solution. Before we apply Micro Asphalt the entire surface is cleaned with wire brushes and blowers, removing all dirt and debris.
All oil, diesel, petrol and grease spots are treated to ensure proper adhesion of sealer and to also remove the asphalt of harmful damaging chemicals.
All cracks are repaired with our repair kits to prevent water penetration into the foundation of the road, driveway or car park.
We apply several layers of regulating to build up and fill in low or damaged areas provide an anti-skid surface. We also add a latex additive to provide the sealant with greater flexibility, which provides greater wear.
Our experienced installation teams spread the Micro Asphalt from the center to the sides, their skill and care ensures that your brick, garage, and concrete will be free from tar stains.
Proper barricading of newly surfaced areas is provided and the proper curing time prior to being opened to traffic.
